The annual Quiz Night on the 11th March was a great success and surpassed our expectations. We had a great turnout – 65 participants from the friends of Cosne, friends of Alzey, and friends of Nevers. Encouraged by its success, we would like to offer the following events
Friends of Cosne AGM
17th May 2023, 7 pm for 7.30 pm at the Engineer pub, Harpenden
After a few years of conducting the AGM on zoom, we are hoping to see most of you in person back in the Engineer this May.
As usual a glass of wine will be offered on arrival. After the short AGM we will all stop for a friendly meal in the pub, a perfect opportunity to reconnect with our twinning community and discuss future events.
Harpenden Carnival
17th June 2023, 10 am – 4 pm, Harpenden Common
We are pleased to announce that we will participate again at the Harpenden carnival on the 17th June. We would ask as many of you as possible to lend us some time at the stand. This will be a perfect opportunity to popularize the twinning and recruit new members.
Can you help? We will need a gazebo/marquee to cover our stand.
Please let us know if you have one we can borrow.
Friends of Harpenden Visit
June 2023, Harpenden
We regret to inform you that our friends in Cosne have postponed their visit in June as they could not get a big enough group. One of the problems is that they would need to get passports at 98 euros, which they would not normally need in their lives in Europe.
